Late Birthday Celebration
So my bestie Ema took me to a surprise activity for my birthday. It happened a month later because we're so busy but it's ok. We made our own candles from scratch. We got to choose the scent, what color the vessel was, and all kinds of decorations to put on top. It was so cool. I regretted the scent I chose for a second (cucumber melon) but then when it became less strong, I ended up really liking it. We also found out that when you light the candle, the melted wax is safe for skin care so it becomes a lotion. That is so cool! After that, we went to get food at this fancy American restaurant. Ema got a huge glob of cheese on her French onion soup. She said it was really good.
Sister Day
We also got to celebrate Ugne's birthday a couple weeks ago. We went to a really fancy sushi restaurant in Oakbrook. Everyone thought their food was good but mine was the best cause I'm good at choosing delicious dishes (obviously). I had a white miso soup with mushrooms and a lobster roll. For dessert they brought out a lava cake with a candle on it and we all loved it so much that we ordered two more (honestly the best lava cake I've had in my life).
After dinner my parents wanted us to take pictures outside the restaurant and so we did. My mom thought it would be a great idea for all of us to sit on the curb and for Chase (Ugne's boyfriend) to take a picture of all of us there. I honestly love that picture the most because it's so cute seeing everyone smiling like that.

Dressing the Bump and a Perfect Poke Bowl
Girl, it's getting harder to dress myself. I have actually been forced to buy maternity clothes. I can't just put on a top and jean shorts anymore and call it an outfit. Butttt that's okay. I'm learning to adapt. I'm trying to embrace more of my natural beauty and be happy with what I look like no matter what. Also, I did make a perfect poke bowl.
