My Life Has Been AMAZING

WOW

Soooo... it's been a couple of months

Celebrating Merjaan's Birthday

For Merjaan's birthday we went to the color museum in Chicago. It was so cool. I loved how every room was interactive in a different way. We had to smell things, touch things, and even taste things. They also had set up photo sections in each room so you didn't have to worry about picking a spot.

The whole thing took about an hour and a half. The price was definitely worth it because of how much free stuff you get to take home too. I would definitely recommend this museum for a date or something. It's so cute!

Calmest Concert I've Ever Been To

Dariana and I went to go see Searows last month and they were so good. The music was so calming and I don't think I've ever been to a concert like that. There was this one girl that was screaming a lot and the artists kinda ignored her lol. She was a little annoying but I understood where she was coming from. She just seemed like she loved the band and it made sense. The opener was actually really good too. Her name was Jordan Patterson and she had a couple of songs about God in her set. I don't think she said a single blasphemous thing in any of her lyrics which was so refreshing. I loved her style because it was weird and different. Her voice sounded kinda like a country valley girl.

Gender Reveal!

Last week we found out that it's a boy :). This is his penis. His anatomy scan went great and he's measuring in the 64th percentile which is amazing. It was so cool to see how his body is developing and how everything is coming into place. I felt like I was back in nursing school when we were being shown all the organs and body parts. We did find out that I have a placenta previa which was hard to hear but God willing it will move up as my uterus continues to grow.

Merjaan is Officially Married!

Ugh I have so many emotions surrounding this event. Merjaan looked so gorgeous during both of the days that I went. Her gowns were stunning and her makeup was perfectly done. She looked like a doll. I can't believe that she has to actually live with a man by herself now. I feel like I'm sending off a baby bird to fly on their own. The last picture is me sending her off before she got into the car and drove off into the sunset with her husband. Her family dressed me for both of the days and I felt like a queen. Everybody knew who I was (I barely knew anyone lol) and they all treated me so nicely. It was a good couple of days and I'm so happy for her.

The song of the week is: Jesus Is King by Fleiva Music
