Loving Life

Ready for Easter

Hiiiiii. It has been quite a while since my last post and honestly I haven't been doing much. It feels like life has mostly been work and school lately. That's okay though, I know it's not forever. I redecorated the house for easer and I'm loving the accents of yellow and blue. It feels so spring in here even though it's still pretty cold outside. Easter is this Sunday and I'm volunteering at church. So I won't get to be a part of the service but I'm glad I still get to be there.

Recap of Some Aesthetic Foods I Made

A dinner I made

Refreshing coconut water, pineapple juice, and dragon fruit drink I whipped up

Some savory wontons I cooked for lunch

Medieval Times Outing

The nightshift girls decided to have some fun on our day off. I had never been to medieval times so I had no idea what to expect. We got the dinner and a show package and I was very pleasantly surprised with how good the food was.

I didn't know how good the show would be because honestly, I don't think watching a bunch of guys riding around on their horses is that interesting. Again, I was very surprised when I was literally at the edge of my seat during the show. I think I audibly reacted multiple times. The side effects were pretty cool too. Plus, our knight won so of course that made the whole show better.

Fun Stuff

Next we have some ema-style activities I did. The top two pictures are from a hard techno rave I went to. My dad and his girlfriend joined of course and they had such a great time too. The music was super basic which is what I expected but I loved it. I danced so hard that my whole body hurt the next day. It felt like I did an intense whole body workout and then some.

Also, me, my sister, and her boyfriend went to Dave and Buster's a week ago. I haven't been in so long so it was so cool to see what new games they had. I always liked the old carnival-style games the most. Throwing balls at the clowns or trying to get rings around the fishbowls is so fun lol. We all racked up a good amount of points but when we went to the prize area, all we could get was candy or small nick nacks. Womp womp. At the end we found this cotton candy machine which was supposed to make your cotton candy into a flower. It didn't end up looking like a flower but it was a bunch of ombre colors that looked super cool. AND I haven't eaten cotton candy for years so it was worth it anyway.

The song of the week is: Asaiah by YXUNGTARZAAN

It's so sweet and soft. Exactly the vibe I've been feeling lately.
